I have always had a funny feeling about Australia. Having seen it in movies The crocodile Dundee and Steve Irwin the crocodile Hunter on TV makes it look like a pretty unreal place. Add in koala bears and kangaroos and it starts to seem a little too good to be true. So when I saw there was a group on here of people skeptical about Australia I was glad to find out Iā€™m not the only one. I look forward to meeting you all and Learning about the true reasons for the Australia hoax.

Given this is an agnositc site we are Aussie's (yes we do exist) who are sceptical about the imaginary sky fairy that different cultures create as a basis of their cults. The photo is of me with a little wallaby that was being looked after by a carer when her mother was killed by a car.

Hey, what you see in movies is NOT what the land of Australia REALLY is btw.
Steve Irwin, though a bit of an environmentalist, etc, was, imo, a full on Show Pony trying to regain the spotlight after retiring from his Rugby days.
Yes, parts of Australia are harsh regions where ONLY tough survive and the piss weak turn to dust, but for the most part, Aussies, the REAL Aussies btw, are truly decent, hard working, friendly people endowed with a sense of what we like to call 'Mateship.'
I was born, raised and have lived in the Outback for most of 67 years, I can be as 'rough as guts' when I need to be, as kind and gentle as a soft breeze and a very easy going person 99.999% of the time just like most of the Aussies born and raised in the Bush are.
True Blue Aussies are as hard to find, imo, as water in a desert around the "Big Smoke" areas of this country, but as common and easy to find as leaves on a tree out in Bush.
Yep, our Crocs are mean and nasty buggers, don't mess with them, so are our snakes and a few of our spiders, roos are okay IF you don't tangle with them, Koalas are just Koalas and so-so, 'Bush Chooks' (Emus) are often as crazy as cut snakes around nesting season but most of the time they'll steer clear of humans.
So, do yourself a favour, DO NOT believe the crap you see in movies, when the C-19 pandemic is over, come and see for yourself.

Thanks for the Response and invite. I appreciate thatšŸŽ©. Are you one of the ā€œAussie Scepticsā€? It seems like you believe in the place. Visiting Australia would burst my conspiracy bubble. If I go there How could I remain a non-believer?

@MorganR Yep, I'm the volunteered (LOL) Moderator of aussie sceptics and have been for quite
some time as well.
"Non-believer" as in what may one ask?
"Conspiracy bubble" you say, what "conspiracy?"
The ONLY bubble that, imo, would be BURST would be the one of total misinformation about Australia and the REAL Aussies.

@Triphid There are a bunch of people who believe that Australia does not exist, we are paid actors and that anything to do with Australia was filmed in some secret location

Brace yourself before reading.

I sincerely hope this person is taking the piss (or extracting the urine as I like to say) rather than a true believer of this rubbish.

Busted me. I was just takin a leak. It was fun to play the game for a minute. The experience Made me envy people who really can enjoy being that irrational. It was fun behaving like a bogan. I will look for another hoax or conspiracy now. Qanonon seems to have run out of steam. Aussie sceptic was just my speed. Oh well. Anyone else got a good one for me?

@Budgie Gotta love these deluded Fat-Earthers and Conspiracy Theorist.
Just finished translating a copy of a papyrus scroll for the Egyptian Museum last night.
It states the following,
"By Command of the Great Queen, Hatshepsut, were built 5 great barges, we set a course towards the Land of Punt from the sea between Egypt and the lands where copper is mined ( Sinai) and towards where Ra rises above the horizon every day, an Easterly course no doubt.
7 risings of Ra had passed when we were caught in a great storm of winds that drove us on and on for many more risings of Ra until we sighted land.
It was not Punt but a new land where peoples with very dark skins dwell and have only wooden spears and wear few clothings except animal skins, their tongues are a language we cannot understand but they are kind and friendly.
They hunt strange animals with sacks on their bellies where their young dwell, presumably referring to Kangaroos, etc, here, the meat from these animals tastes strange to us but it is good and fills our hungry bellies.
They have helped us to repair our barges, given us provisions in plenty and now the winds have changed direction we will again set course for Punt and complete our mission."
Name inscribed at the bottom of the scroll reads as being, Akhetmeses, Representative of Queen and Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 3rd. year of Her most Glorious Reign.
Now, historical records show clearly the Queen Hatshepsut DID rule over the 2 Land, Egypt, she did send a mission to the Land of Punt which, according to records was gone for approx. 2 years BEFORE it returned to Egypt carrying with it trees from which the incense known as Myrrh and Frankincense could be extracted.
So WHERE did this fleet of Barges actually end up before returning to Egypt?
