Driving in to the Pain Clinic this morning and a Great Grey Owl flew right across the road in front of me and landed in a tree. I only had my Iphone with me so the pics aren't the best but I will be looking for him now that I know he is around.

Highlights from my evening walk. The wild bunnies are pretty tame and will stay even if you are within a few feet. A yellow-crowned night heron and whistling ducks (not available to see in many areas).

Went by my pond today on my daily walk and there were 3 turtles sunning themselves but I could not get close enough to photograph them. The ducks did not mind though. They will be nesting soon.

A pair of mourning doves has decided to nest in either my spruce true or the front shrubbery. They keep hanging out on my front steps. I guess less traffic in and out of the house has led them decide “nice spot for a nest”. If they do nest and...

Spring is headed north!!! Here in the state of Georgia, the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds have returned, and the male gold finches have just molted into their neon yellow feathers.
