I saw my first, lifer, red-headed woodpecker a few weeks ago. Thursday, I was fortunate enough to see three more at the same location (but I was only able to photograph two of them).

The baby killdeer have survived several soccer practices, at least one field mowing, a couple of thunderstorms, and whatever goes bump in the night. It won't be long before they're able to fly!
