That's a great drawing. Can you explain the different types of paper please?
300 series is just a thick high quality paper. The main reason I use this one is the texture. Some have more tooth than others. This texture can change how much the graphite comes off and how it sits on the surface. I actually use the back side of the paper not the front side. Each side has a different tooth, I prefer the back side when doing human skin. I use it only for portraits of people.
@JesseBoren Thank you Jesse.Years ago when I was in school, I used to draw with charcoal, ink and pencil, and I remember using a spray fixative so that the drawings wouldn't smudge. I suppose that materials have changed a lot in four decades though.
I sure miss this man running the country. He was not perfect but what we have now is a nightmare.
