My go to costume when nothing original comes to mind. Couldn't do the make-up, hat or a mask. I was on the downside of a shingles outbreak on the right side of my face/head and it was too sensitive but really did not want to stay in any longer.

Thankyou!! Well, lets put it this way I certainly could have done without it. It's clearing up and I'll know tomorrow for sure if the spot on the cornea is completely healed.

@Hathacat Good news, with Medicare the costs for me were low and the eye doctor has followed it intensely.

Love the costume . Some years back , I got a shot at my local pharmacy , to prevent shingles . You might want to look into that .

In January a new more effective vacine came on the market as soon as production gets up to speed I'll get it. The old one is 50% effective, the new one is 95%.
@silverotter11 so is this new vaccine coming out in January, or came out last January?
@dalefvictor Yes, January 2018. The sole manufacturer has not been able to keep up with demand and the new manufacturing facility will not be up and running until sometime in 2019. It is a 2 shot vaccine so the people who received the 1st shot are the priority. All the pharmacies in my area are not even putting people on a waiting list anymore.

The clubhouse at the apartment complex has a small collection of books we can borrow and add to whenwver we want.
I have NO idea why the photo is so huge. I was thinking it would be a quarter of the size like my jewelry photos. Yikes!
