I find them interesting in that they allow me to see familiar things in another light. Not sure I could live with them, but then that takes on a whole different aspect. I live in a dusty place so these would quickly be covered with dust. This is a whole different thing, the dust.

These look like cloth? I used to do some soft sculpture using old bed sheets and rabbit glue!
