This may be an odd post for this group but it needs a little artistic input so seemed appropriate to me.

First pic is the cabinets, secured to the wall. Second pic shows the corner shelf shape. The next 2 pics are design drawings. The cabinets are in the arrangement in design 1, larger horizontal cabinet to the left. The shelves to the left of the cabinets will be separated/supported by 1.25" dowels in the corners. The part I am challenged by is deciding on arranging the distance between the shelves.

The shelves will mostly be used to hold popcorn tins. If I make the distance between shelves a consistent 12”, tins will fit in them with an inch or so of clearance. Then I got to wondering if it would be more aesthetically pleasing to have different heights, thus design 2. I could put bottom 2 at 14”, middle 2 at 12” and the top 2 at 10”, or they could be arrange 14,12,10,14,12,10. I have some 9” tins, same diameter as the 11” ones, that would fit the top. Bottom 2 would hold regular tins with 3” clearance or “milk can” top tins with 1” clearance. I'm trying to decide which configuration would be more visually pleasing. Thought maybe someone would like to weigh in. Thanks!

I like a combination of the two - # 1 with #2 popcorn tin shelves. My biggest issue is with the center cabinet on the right. From a practical one I like doors - they hide my clutter.

I am using layout #1, but it hadn't decided on the popcorn shelves. Not clear on which cabinet you reference on center right. The first photo shows all the closed cabinets that will be there. I will have a couple open shelf areas besides the tins shelves on the left.

That little cookbook shelf in design #1 ends up only being 12" wide. Finally realized in my drawing I inserted a 30" cabinet on the right upper, it should have been a 36" . Won't drastically alter the final outcome. The large open.are above the row of cabinets, will have an edge glued pine top with a urethane coating and will serve as a sort of breakfast bar, toaster,.coffee maker, blender sort of thing I think.
