Pardon me if I am one of those that at times creates just for himself. Sometimes my art is the vehicle of my healing... for my eyes only. So there is a part of me that will remain an unknown mistery. Other times... I will be happy to share.

Sometimes? My perspective is a hobby, art, is our therapy, our escape from the conflict in the "outside" world. If it is selfish, it is a necessary selfishness. We all need our inner sanctum, our fortress of solitude. Whether we share that with others is up to our discretion. I have a friend who has never shared her pencil art with the other members of our "extended family".
