My Favorite shade of blue!
i really likes the blue and the only other colour in the yarn that worked with it was the grey and as I was making it for a man I thought it would work.

That's not a rug , that's a nice coy afghan .
Maybe afghans are rugs in Australia?
I refer to it as a lap rug, lap blanket but yes it is also referred to as an afghan, which can get confusing in Oz as the Afghans were the people who brought camels to Australia and set up a trade route through the central part. The man who I made it for has had a stroke and is in care, in a recliner so I wanted something for him for when he felt cold.

The yarn actually has little bits of metallic thread so it sparkles slightly. Did not show up in the photo.
