My Earth mother figure. I think it’s funny that the residue made eye dots and the line made a mouth. Making a smaller one for a ‘comfort object’ assignment for my anxiety support group.

I did this replica of Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" mostly to get a sense of how the masters used shading and light effects. Sadly my girl appears about 10 years older than his because I am inexperienced with the fine details of making faces!...

Some latest bits from my woodwork group for adult LDs using old and recycled wood :-) Train planter, wishing well planter (with each side's design) wheel barrow planter and a tea light holder from unused skirting boards :-)
