I'm going to double the length of the bread to 30". I wonder what that will weigh in cast iron? Should be fun!

Cast a huge plaster mold of that oversized bread a few hours ago. 50 pounds of plaster. I'll turn it over some time tomorrow and see if it's a good casting.

This bathtub and old steam radiators are going to be broken up and re-cast into sculpture at the iron pour next week. I'm excited and can't wait to get there!

I'm at the iron casting workshop all week. Today, I made the two-part sand mold with an internal support structure fabricated from welded rebar and " pipe. I'll melt out the wax tomorrow and cast it on Friday.
