I've been melting wax out of investment molds in my oven lately. 200 degrees F for about 12 hours. Casting them tomorrow night! If the weather cooperates.

Here is the handfull of Cormo wool I dyed with this year's Easter egg dye. I'll be spinning it into thin yarn for Dream's winter mittens . The colors are slightly dim because we exhausted the dye bath with eggs this year, but I like these pastels. ...

experimental applications of metallic leaf (this was black leaf, copper) to high fired ceramic without glaze... I quite like the effect, I think.

Last nights forging shenanigans. A fun quick broach for a friend. This turned out a bit bigger than I had planned, but I learned a lot and should have the sizing dialed in after a couple more tries. This one is about 3 1/4" in diameter, 1/4" stock.
