I live on the Isle of Wight (UK) and we only have red squirrels, the greys are kept off the island as they overwhelm the habitat and force the reds out. A recent trip to Dartmoor in Devon meant catching (visually) some greys, which for me was a ...

I make 'ollas' for the garden. It's an unglazed clay pot you bury next to the plant and fill with water. It's like a poor man's drip irrigation system.
