Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It's an OK show (practically a love letter to Tom Savini, which is no bad thing), the original comics are much better & the show does well for staying faithful to it.
In terms of differences to it, the show seems to be gunning itself toward stretching out the story/canon.
Hope season 2 is as good as the first, the main detractor for me was the attempt to push for a three-way relationship (which they did shoot down, thankfully).
I'm not a prude or anything but it was a significant detraction from the original canon.
They also dumbed-down the kids in the show, making them pretty gullible & not willing to learn more about keys. As they introduce characters that can tell them more about the keys but then never think to flesh out that arc.
All in all, if they stick to the source material, the show will be great but the more they deviate from it - the more plot-holes seem to be emerging. Unfortunately, I do not have faith in the show's writers but am hoping they don't screw up the 2nd season
