That's not true. A large sense of that being false was the amount of people who were willing to support Sanders in 2016. More people are realizing this with yet another campaign of 2 very unlikeable candidates for 2020. People are waking up.
When I have time I will be posting the recent Hedges conversation with writer, teacher and activist Victor Wallis as they discuss the prospect and need for ecosocialism, as it also goes into this issue some. I just need time to filter through it and make these and other points.
Point taken; but you're also talking in generalizations....which leads to prejudice.
Let's face it...there's a whole spectrum of "woke" and "sleep-walking/zombies" out there.
As a 45 year teacher....you keep pushing the same motivational approach knowing that you won't reach many...but you do reach a few.
They won't stand up and applaud. They'll just quietly shift their positions.
That's who I'm talking to. There's always a tiny few that are "waking up".....IMO.
