Sad to see that we learn nothing from history. I am reading the book, The Condor Years. it is about all of what was happening in South America in the 1970's and the militaries' secret wars involving six governments working together ass allies. It is a disturbing read.

Also if someone wants a better understanding of what took place between Palestine and Isreal after WWll I would recommend, The lemon Tree. A true life story of a Palenstine family removed from their home by force and the Jewish family that took it over the the son of the palenstine family goes to his old home years later and meets the daughter of the Jewish family and the friendship but also conflict between them over a 20 year span.

The idiots on each side praise their respective leaders regardless of what they do. It's amazing to me that leaders from each side can be almost mirror images of each other in terms of policy and the lemmings from each side will boo the other side and cheer their own. Then we have the rest of us stuck on the outskirts of the morons allowing all of this to happen. This is prime Twilight Zone or Black Mirror material.
