I know a lot of people are weary of the green party still. For all the wrong reasons I might add. But you can thank them for a lot of the reasons progressives are winning during this election cycle. When Sanders turn coated on us, it left many to make a very tough decision. Many republicans went back to the republican party. Probably most. Many of us Sanders supporters went with Jill Stein. Some fell back to the trap of the democratic party. All they really did was prevent the green party from reaching the 5% it needed to become a viable entry into debates. Some of those progressives making the news are from the green party. And yes, more are progressives from the democratic party. But like the picture says, there is no other people's party. Given the chance the green party can grow a hell of a lot faster than you're going to change the democratic party. We proved that in Sanders case.
