A Year Ago I Wrote About Cross-Ideological Collaboration. Here’s How It’s Been Going:
As someone that worked on social media seemingly endless to get Bernie Sanders known during the 2016 primary, I seen many republicans ask about changing party’s and helped explain to many republicans how to go about that. Mostly those up in their years that had been stuck in a party they felt they no longer knew. I seen that type of comment on a thread so many times it was like it was rehearsed. Like many independents that sit back each election cycle waiting for someone to come along with a similar ideology and similar political policy’s. I was astonished at how many republicans would come out of what I seen as a shell to vote for a someone with that word, socialist, attached to their identity. They like myself wanted nothing to do with Trump or Clinton, both having a history of a deplorable nature towards humanity in many aspects. Those that lived in the NY and NJ areas knew Trump for what he was well before many of us. I only knew little from MSM, but as I searched I found a horrific family history and a tail of corrupt business antics people in those areas paid for reaching back through his fathers time. Clinton on the other hand, decades of deceit, lies, think tanks, questionable foundation activities, using death and destruction as a means to fortune, and self heroism. The Bosnia incident was simply despicable, as much of her political career!
We are not the world apart MSM and our politicians have managed to make us out to be when you toss aside the chains. As Caitlin Johnstone, I during that primary period was attacked from both sides many times. The blissful reaction from the results of the managed perception of the 2 party establishment illusion when a democrat or a republican attacks with the mindset you're the other party because you can't be against both is astonishing. Afterwards, when you direct their ignorance to reality, comes the belittlement of socialism and or a 3rd party can't win. You have to vote for one or the other to win!?! Sometimes I think it's a sin when I feel like I winning when I'm losing again. I therefore chose to win by losing. I will not sellout my morals, my ideology, or my fellow members of humanity for the benefit of a corrupt political system that is run by the worlds most wealthy parasites.
