FINALLY, NPR is using the words: "FASCISM and TRYANNY". FINALLY.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is this about?
See her reply below. It's about NPR having a hiccup from their usual establishment agenda. As a five day a week listener on a usual workweek, I can understand it I drive a combination rolloff for a scrape steel company locally. So 5 days a week I listen to NPR to keep up with news and keep my bullshit meter tuned. On occasion I have to go south out of my local listening area where I get the BBC/PBS version of NPR. They share a lot of the same morning and afternoon programs. Although the 10 to noon slots are 2 different programs. Anyways. NRP and BBC provide some occasionally good material. And have some good independent guest on now and then. Unfortunately, their good points are overwhelmingly buried by their obvious establishment rhetoric and lack of proper rebuttal towards politicians while on their programs. In other words, they just allow them to spew their managed perception without a challenge. Then spread the illusion after they leave with repetitive coverage.
@William_Mary Ah, I see. I actually saw a video with a bunch of different news channels and establishments repeating the same lines, and Amy Goodman was one of them. Although, in the past I do remember NPR being more critical of the establishment government and corporations. I guess it was just lip service.
