Good post. Sorry in the last 24 hours I'm the first to like or comment, that's not to say others may had read it but it does preach to the choir.
Still we can all learn something. I did a few months at a commercial art school, I worked in the printing industry. I could that advertisers understand psychology as well as a graduate in the study of. With TV came many studies on how to influence people and politicians latched onto the medium like a duck to water. My Dad understood how TV influenced people and we were limited to how much TV we could view.

As the conductor of the choir, I'm forced to produce repetitive natured post as newer members come in. If my goal to awaken people from the perception management, as you note you know well, is to be fruitful I must do so. Having been a moderator of online groups over the years in a couple other aspects, I know very few people in a group actually participate within the group. Somewhere around only 10%, often even lower, actually post in forums or produce comments. I also know there are not many that are going to scroll through the many articles in the past as they come in.

This post for example is telling me 12 people have viewed the content. Only you and I are commenting. Only you took time to chose a degree of possibly liking it. I have no way of knowing who actually read the article. Which is a wider problem in politics today. Many people just read Headlines and miss the information within. A tactic main stream media uses to their advantage to spread the illusion via spectacular capture. My hope someday is more people will relate for the members how what we are witnessing today have touched their lives and share it here. I'm rather impressed we have as many members here as we do. We've been floating between 230 and 240 for a while now and I never thought it would really grow to that many. Mostly the same people seemingly reading the articles though. We were almost to 240 when Bush Sr. passed. We lost quite a few over my post of his true past history though I believe.

@William_Mary I had no idea some dropped out after the Bush Sr. post WOW. Guess the truth is hard to take for some.
trump supporters are that way. I look for answers when what I'm hearing does not match what I see or experience. I can put my head in the sand with the best of them but geezzzzzzz at some point the light filters in and you start to question.
I do know it is improtant to stay on topic, tho I did mentally digress this morning to the 'If Obama did that or if Hillary had won and their foundation had been shown to be as big a scam as trump and families . . . . .'. 😉
