I know our government uses propaganda ( Pledge of Allegiance, Star Spangled Banner, etc.), but this is a whole other level! It looks as if the States is trying to add another country that it has overthrown or attempted to overthrow. Thanks for posting.

This is the main factor that drove Robert Parry out of MSM to independent journalism. As one of the main journalist that brought light to the Iran-Contra Affair, he faced many pressures to get his articles through his editors. It wasn't until the mid 90's, 94 I think it was, he finally worked his way into an abandoned office after leads and found a grove of files that began tying Reagan and Bush to the controversy to a point he could put out the story. But his editors wouldn't touch it. By this time we're already naming streets and bridges, etc, after Reagan. So he left and created Consortium News in 1995. The first internet news source.
