Misguided Spying and the New Zealand Massacre
(We know thanks to the findings of an inquiry by the State Services Commission last December that as many as a dozen government agencies, including the NZ Police, were too busy squandering their resources spying on NGOs such as GreenpeaceNZ; political parties such as the New Zealand Green Party and then-Internet Party aligned Mana Movement, as well as on anti-TPP protesters and activists such as myself.)
I posted that story some weeks back. Also by Suzie Dawson. If our intelligence agencies spent half the time on right wing nut groups as they do journalist, left leaning activist groups, and the multiple ethnic groups they spend time on, they might avoid these attacks. But then I'm not sure they really want to.
Exclusive: They Spy with Their Little Eye
(Yesterday, the mania and obsessive hatred of an actual terrorist in Christchurch in possession of automatic weapons, culminated in his posting a racist manifesto online and then live streaming his hate crime in real time. Yet he was never spied on.)
This guy had all the signs out in neon! For a period of time! You make a post on social media that their algorithms can pick up and delete in a manor of minutes, yet this guy for nearly half an hour stated his intentions, then drove off while filming the entire ordeal!?!
