No mater what side you are on, she makes some great points in a simple way, worth the watch.

Represent Us---Here's my problem. All the measures they presented to solve the problem have to go through the very same people they're telling us are corrupt. And they are right, they are corrupt. And they are right, the system is corrupt. And Represent us has managed to get some things changed over the years. Small things! Statewide, small things! Guess what? The system is still corrupt! Because the small things it gets done are always done so with a means to work around, on purpose by the corrupt system and the corrupt people still in that system! I always argue you can't change the democratic party from within because it's to large to get all the corruptness out. Both state and nationally. I give you the same argument towards the entire system.

She started this video accepting that both parties are the problem. Then presents you a solution to solve it that can only be done within the same system and the same people in those parties. This is where I tell you again it can't be done. The only way to beat the system is to first replace the people in it with people against the system from outside of the system. Then they can change the system. And that will take a populous, that 42% of Independent voters along with a degree of the other 2 parties who are tired of the system as is, and create a big bang mass exodus to a 3rd party.

Going by way of states to fight this. If you think the state governments are less corrupt than the federal government, you're quite frankly not seeing the whole picture. They are in bed with the federal government as much as the federal government is with the oligarchs ruling over the establishment. And as the judicial system keeps moving to the right they'll use that to combat any moves to change the system that supports their agenda. We have essentially went over the proverbial tipping point in this aspect of governance to fight their oppressive system without invading it via 3rd party.

State government is just as corrupt as WA DC. Good and bad every where and it will take those educated and in the know to effect the kind of reall change we need in America. Every little bit will help but it now needs to be bigger.

@Mermaidfantasy Fabulous film! This is a wonderful, concise recipe for gaining control over political corruption. If movements in other countries have gotten results, by starting and building grassroots movements, obviously that seems the main way to begin, and grow. I've seen this process described in terms of localities where people are fighting big powerful polluters in their cities, and this kind of mass movement has worked, yet takes commitment and cooperation across the political spectrum. What a great post!

I still am bewildered on how people still have faith in this shit show. They think people like us are crazy, even when you show them all the evidence that supports the system not working for us, and then they will go out and support Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton thinking they will change it, and still think nothing is wrong. Their candidates don't even have progressive/liberal ideals. The Republicans aren't any better. Even people who will agree the system doesn't work will go vote for the same old.
