Iran Tensions Are Reason to Revoke ‘9/11 AUMF’

A House committee voted Tuesday to end the emergency war powers that Congress gave the presidency after 9/11. Inder Comar says it’s urgent to complete that repeal process.

(And it would herald a new phase of America’s wars in which any pretense of peace is abandoned and a militarized economy, society and culture is the open and avowed goal of the state and its political system.)

Do you need that moment? To let that sentence set in? I've been saying for quite some time that we've already been there for some time. The military complex is a large part of what's keeping their capitalist system alive. Though it's on life support, at our expense, in so many ways. Our society has been conditioned to a point families have lost loved one's, nearly 5000, in a major quagmire over lies that have actually spread their false narrative globally, and not only remain silent to those loses, but silent to the possibility of more to come in other countries, again, based on more lies. So our American culture has become that of a breeding ground for the ruling class to produce cannon fodder. I'm not sorry, it has to be put out there.

(To prevent this, the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force, passed by Congress shortly after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, must be repealed or struck down, as soon as possible.)

I heard a law maker the other day on NPR make a statement, it went something like this. Congress gave up the job of deciding when to go to war a long time ago. Or commit to war? You get the ideal. They obviously gave up the right to put the breaks on illegal wars based on lies before and after they start also. Or to even seek the truth to false narratives when the white house and it's war lords begin showing signs of creating another one. As a matter of fact, they just blissfully join in without any thought like a vast majority of the public as their MSM spreads those false narratives for them. SO, basically they have given one person the right to determine when we go to war over any reason that said person can dream up? Without any new legislature!

(On Sept. 18, 2001, President George W. Bush signed into law the AUMF, which is terse, consisting of 60 words🙂

Which should have been ran through a shredder at least half way through all the various false reasons they were attempting to use as a means to, well, commit murder.

(In order to restrain the executive, Congress found itself in the awkward position of having to pass a resolution (S.J. 7) to forbid the executive from participation in a war zone that was never authorized. On April 16, President Donald Trump vetoed the resolution, and on May 2, Congress failed to override the veto with a two-thirds majority. Throughout the debate regarding Yemen, the entire political class seemed to blindly accept the absurdity that it was incumbent upon Congress to stop a military operation that had never been authorized with a two-thirds, veto-proof majority.)

Fools! Or are they? Collaborates!

(The 9/11 AUMF is unconstitutional because it violates the separation of powers. But even if it could be narrowly interpreted, there is no way that a military authorization designed to fight Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, passed almost 18 years ago, provides any legitimate basis for an attack against Iran — a separate sovereign nation that has no connection to Al-Qaeda terrorists or the 9/11 attacks. Osama bin-Laden is long dead. How long will 9/11 be milked and exploited by corrupt leaders and enabling bureaucrats as an excuse for a forever war?)

Please do tell! Syria and Libya!?! Venezuela! Where we, I say we! funded and weaponized fractions of AlQaeda to topple these states! Not because they were bedded there, from there, funded or supported by them, we essentially took them there!
