A monumentally destructive U.S. decade — symptomatic of imperial decline — exposed a shamefully pliant press. But we have at least one reason to resist incurable pessimism.

Actually we have 1 more year before the decade is over. However, far be it, I to have any hope in that remaining year! But like with reality we rush to the conditioning of the delusional reality created for us
