As a whole, the world is out of control; though, there are some fiefdoms.

The Internet is already smashing some icons and severely cracking others, without being compromised. It is admittedly taking awhile, but information that is verifiable and conflicting with many sacrosanct 'narratives' is available. Some of the best of it is on youtube. I like youtube because one can ask that classic question of self and others: "What am I going to believe; the narrative or my 'lyin' eyes?"

Chief among them is what is (and has been) going on in Palestine and what happens in our streets that is being billed as 'peaceful'.

Jimmy Dore is great.

Master Narratives share a major problem...the Internet. I think this may be one of the reasons why we are seeing the move to obliterate net neutrality. It simply does not serve the Master Narrative's goals to have minor narratives which are also able to reach everyone in the world. Demolishing net neutrality will raise the cost for competing voices on the internet and it doing so it will secure the Master Narrative's hegemony.

Exactly this. Well said.

Is that the CNN or BBC motto?

I think you're confused. Those 2 news companies are in the mix of MSM spewing the present narrative capturing most of the Population with fake news which manages their perception keeping them in an illusion.

Sorry, I'm a bit slow sometimes. It so could be!

@William_Mary no worries.

I think Trump and the Kock brothers have that in mind. It's why Americans are having so much smoke blown up their ass right now.

Yeah, countries that loose wars rarely ever talk about them. I graduated from hs in 2003. I never remember hearing about Vietnam in class. Same principle.

Did they mention when the British and Canadians burned down the White House back in the War of 1812? Probably not but then time heals all wounds. Here we are 2 centuries later and the best of pals, except for the latest trade war that Trump is bringing to us.
