While in the military I developed a reaction to cheese. Would actually go into a mild form of anaphylactic shock. It would last about 8 hours and it took a while for me to figure what triggered it. Eventually, I grew out of it, so I thought, but also always had an issue with my sinuses. When my mother was dying she went to live with my 7th Day Adventist sister who practiced macrobiotic eating. She had a serious allergy to wheat and without milk her allergy lessened. This told me something and I got a blood allergen test and sure enough all dairy is very high. Even though one may not feel it there could be a reaction. To me it simply is not worth it especially since there are lots of plant based replacements for milk and cheeses. One should at least get tested.
