A group in the area, Western Cascade Fruit Society [wcfs.org] was created to help amateur fruit growers albeit with natural and organic means. They have chapters all over the state. I was on the board of one chapter and still get their newsletter. Also, our county was one of the first in the country to ban GMO farms.

@Sheannutt Unfortunately, it as our county. Central Washington is a major agricultural area with a lot of large farms. Our, on the island are small and normally organic from the start. The vote was mostly symbolic.
Upon review of the study that is probably the source of this meme, what it should say is that exposure to pesticides decreases exponentially after last exposure. That really isn't saying much of anything, though, because that is what most chemicals in the body do.

I am the same way. Not much some grains like they fatten cattle on. I like eating organic.
