Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You do know why the old timers were called sourdoughs don't you? It is because they had leather pouched with rawhide strings. They filled the pouches with dough and carried them under their armpits so the dough would ferment.

I've had a few mistakes with sourdough bread. I hate to waste it, so it goes in the toaster.
