A day in the life of a vegan is like the day in the life of non vegan except I make slightly different choices for my self and my impact on the world... still have delicious food, still get dressed and go to work, listen to music, have a beer. ..... but, I am at for fewer health problems and like knowing I’ve had a smaller carbon foot print. For breakfast I might have organic cereal with blueberries and coconut millk instead of McDonalds... my belt is cloth but so are pants so that was easy. When I drink I choose alcoholic beverages that haven’t been filtered through the bladder of a fish… Which wouldn’t have sounded particularly appealing to me when I was not vegan. I’m not week, protein and B12 are not an argument, I get both. I’m likely deficient in far fewer vitamins then somebody that doesn’t eat a healthy vegan diet... I don’t much agree with the unhealthy vegan diet loaded with processed food and chemicals anymore than I agree with a non-vegan diet. If you want to be vegan but think it’s to , small mental changes are the key... if you don’t want to be vegan are you reading this cheers, Guinness is vegan
I hate to break it to you but anything that has water in it has, at some time, been filtered through a fish or some other creature. The water we all use has been and will be constantly recycled. Guinness is a bit strong for me but food issues make my beers of choice are the ones brewed with sorghum.
You’re not breaking anything new or scary to me… I realize I’m a human and have to live on this planet with the way things are... Part of the coffee I’m drinking right now may have been filtered through Thomas Jefferson’s bladder, it’s fine... There are other vegan beers as well… I think perhaps Corona but I would have to check, I’m not a vegan activist though, I just do me and if my example inspires others to do the same great... I’m already a political activist so I kind of feel my activism plate is a little full, LOL… You do you, and be well .
Yay Guiness! That's funny. I did not know that. And I've never heard about the "being filtered through the bladder of a fish" thing. What the hell is that?
[google.com] I only recently learned this myself... so went out and got vegan wines and Guinness... Guinness changed the filtering method recently, prior to that it was not vegan.
