I was watching "Death Wish 2" last night; the scene that keeps popping up is the one where the police removes a gun from an older couple stating that's illegal to own one. The old man tells the cops they have the gun for protection....but the cops ignore him. Few minutes after the cops left...and through the apartment's window... two lowlifes harassed / threatened the couple.

I loved to spend the summer vacations in the northern Patagonia -at my grandma's ranch. Were almost three months running on the grass, swimming in crystalline rivers and waking up yo the bluest sky...only interrupted by the Andes mountains....and all this beauty was close enough to town to be able to share a cup of hot "chocolate" with friends almost every day. Yes, I loved to be there.

Whenever I meet people for the first time, I find a way to let them know I am Atheist....if they react in a negative way I let few minutes go by and, then, I say I need to use the facilities....and I never come back. I used the same technique whenever a man approached me and I wanted to know if he had kids; if he said "yes"...I went to the ladies room and I never returned.

For my birthday, I had a coworker give me a bible and a couple of books on Jesus.

Are they really "dear friends"....or even friends? Any person who doesn't respect your feelings and opinions is not a friend but a toxic element in your life. My best friend, Lidia, is extremely religious; she attends mass three times a week, recites the rosary before each meal....but in 40 years of friendship she never have attempted to "change me". .

Yes, to swimming in rivers / oceans. When I was 4 years old I asked my sister: "Are sharks in the river? " She decided to show me no sharks were around (they are never in the rivers) and she hold my head under the water for an eternity. Since then, I only swim in swimming pools.
