First off, I am very happy for you in your job. That has worked out very well for you. As for me and my job today, there are similarities to things I did for most of my life. Today I deliver auto parts. In my past I studied HVAC and ended up working for a company that also did in home appliance repair. Very often I would be ordering a part that later I would put on - fan motors, clocks, replacing bad trim, etc. When you had the part with you things were fixed on the spot. When you did not, the item was fixed later when the part came in. A lot of this is driving time and you are simply in and out of homes. Snap back into today and I fix nothing at all. I simply drive and delivery. People sign paperwork and I'm gone. I like my job because it reminds me of things I trained for and have always done. I like driving also. Let me switch into a part time delivery situation that a friend recently told me about. Flower shops need delivery people and he used to be such a person. Some days he might have only two or three deliveries at $10 each. Other days he would deliver flowers to funeral homes and make upwards of $200 each delivery. In a week this was easy work that did well for my friend. Imagine if you had this job and lived in a larger community. Flower delivery is on a commission basis.

My ex always wanted her name back if we divorced. I had that stipulation put it there because I remembered. Later she asked me how does she do this. I tried to explain it to her. Getting divorced and getting your name back is not just an instant thing declared with a stroke of a pen. She told me she would ask business people she works with about it. In the end she told me she had discovered how to do it now but it was too expensive. This should be a lesson for many people. If you are legally awarded your maiden name again this is valid, but it does not guarantee that banks will have to re-do your loan or car information. This costs money and you will have to pay for that.

Certainly I agree and it is more than just food. This happens because love of our fellow man is going out the window and we are becoming a nation of "goods and services." This means it is all about money. I have heard of people pouring bleach on their throw away food to prevent animals from getting it. In some areas this is done to prevent humans from getting that food.

I wish you the best. I have liver problems but not cirrhosis. At least not yet. I quit drinking for almost a year and then said "screw that." I'm alcoholic but don't drink every day. Today I had one stout. Last week sometime I actually had 5 beers. Some days I drink nothing at all and I do fine. My doctors gave me a series of shots to avoid Hep C because they said it would kill me if I came down with it. I'm not wanting a transplant and I don't want to be on a list. I have a friend who got a liver transplant 20 years ago and he is doing fine. None of that is for me. I'm not sure my doctor is doing what is best for me. She likes my blood readings and admires how I have taken my own treatment into my hands as I have. I had to do something. I'm not ready to die yet and I'm not sure anybody else really cared.

I was once a true believer. Family got me into god and religion and I knew they could not be wrong. Then came studying for the ministry and later many years in limbo. Out of that study I finally came to realize there is no evidence for gods. None of them! No evidence at all. Some people claim to be atheist simply because they do not like ideas of gods or church. They know the least of all. I've found the bible to be mostly bogus with unfounded stories. Other holy books are pretty much the same. Gods are not trying to contact you or instruct you. Then we have the true believer that is told that if he was born in Iran he would not be a Christian. He would be a Muslim. He doesn't get it. I've even had some of them look at me and ask just what that means. They just do not get it. Totally brainwashed.

I take no meds for it but I know I have depression. I deal with it by endless projects that come out of things that interested me as a teen. I always liked to read, play music, and copy music and movies. Everything went digital and I got into computers. I never grew up and I'm still doing the same things but computers take a lot of daily work. Now my computers read to me and I watch anything I want to on them from all over the world. I get news and radio from all over the world also. The source of my depression is change and anxiety. I hate change but it is a constant to life. I'm getting older and going forward. That does not afford me the security and comfort of the past. I have no hope of past relationships returning and very little of a future relationship that will blossom. The best I can do is please myself. Depression is a bastard but doing is a cure. Be active and do what you enjoy doing.

Stephen is always funny and right on target. What gets me here are those who actually believe this. **If the UK was not always in the European Union and now wants to exit that union why would the Queen and the Royals be leaving the UK**? Why is there a secret Brexit plan? This is bullshit that makes no sense at all except that some jerk planted the seed and got the story going. Now a big percentage of people believe it. One man's consent is another woman's rape. We live in a day and time when these stories happen often and it comes out of left field after a period of time. If there is an investigation center on this along with who might have encouraged the claimant, and why. At least that is a good start.
