@MichelleGar1 , I hope so to. Your right about so much to do so little time, I want to experience heaps of bands/artists, not all of them metal either, some of them are strange and weird, for example here is an artist I reckon I'd like to see just because her music is just so unusual. I've also found people don't really know what to think after hearing this song. It took me about 4-5 listens just to absorb it, and I'm still not shure what to think, but I like it..... https://youtu.be/XwsJlUdklmk

Pretty voice....but the song never seems to really get going...it’s like a very long intro...maybe that is the whole point of using the foetus, illustrating that it’s pre-birth and only a promise of something to come.

@TheGreatShadow, I'll have to check out some kind of monster. I knew James had drinking problems and Dave had his drug problems, and ever since Dave was kicked out of Metallica, he seemed pissed at James and Lars but I think he has let that go since his cancer diagnosis. I agree that I think Dave is a better musician than James or Kirk, I think Dave wipes the table with them. That sucks you didn't get the tape, it would of been interesting to hear.

Honestly did not think I'd like this, though it's been such a while since I gave this band a try that I couldn't remember exactly what they sounded like. Not sure I'm down with that chorus, but I am with the propulsive rhythm and the over the top vocalizing.
Garf replies on Sep 27, 2020:
I like Manowar, I had all there albums and somehow they got lost, except this album (king's of metal) I still have it on record (vinyl)
Don't let the band's name fool you, and yes the chorus is sung in French.

@MichelleGar1, hell I was in my young teenage years when I seen her, and she sang that song and she was touching herself!!, Best 3 and a half minutes of my life, hahahaha. I've never been to a metal show, that's sad!!! A friend of mine seen Slayer (years ago) and he said it was the most violent concert he has been to, he told me security was taking people belts off them because they would just go around and hit others with them, and one guy got so roughed up that he was covered in blood, crazy stuff!!

Garf replies on Sep 26, 2020:
@TheGreatShadow, yeah I like classical to, my favourite would have to be "moonlight sonata" I don't mind country music, my partner listened to that a lot when she was alive. The modern pop hits are ok in my opinion, some good, some just annoying (baby shark, do do do do do do) Great!! Now I've got that bloody song stuck in my head....

Cutiebeauty comments on Sep 25, 2020:
Practically it only take 9 days to start forgetting someone, no matter how close he or she was. However it also depends on the relations you have made that might ranges for physical and mental activities. Kinda strange no one knows who made this quote 😜
Garf replies on Sep 25, 2020:
You are right, it does depend on the relationship status with the person. I could see someone I don't know and forget about it in 2 minutes flat, where as if it is someone I care about, I would dwell on the interaction way after it has finished

@TheGreatShadow, oh wow!! Thanks for the link to song, I don't mind that one. I agree Dani does have a good set of vocal cords on him, and I love how proficient he is with writing lyrics. Ii generally don't understand the whole these albums before such and such are no good, or whatever, I just like to give anything a listen and if I like it, well I like it. Except techno, I'd rather get wooden splinters shoved under my finger nails then listen to that.

I wonder what influences me to, don't you worry. I'll give anything a listen as long as it's not techno music, I can't stand techno. I didn't know what to think of the song when I first heard it, now I think it's about her struggle with her own identity, and it fascinates me.. she is an artist that has slowly grown on me.
