SingTheGuitar comments on Feb 10, 2018:
Yes. You're being extremely silly. You should attend for your daughter's sake. Just because you go to a gay bar, doesn't make you gay. It doesn't even mean you condone being gay. The same with church. You can always laugh the whole time you're there. Just keep it kinda inaudible.

Female body hair. Have you examined your prejudices?
Duke comments on Feb 2, 2018:
The marketing "geniuses" who came up with this idea stepped WAY over a line here. Coercing a specific segment of the general population to alter themselves on a daily basis simply to sell a product. But that's what they do best, isn't it? Making people feel inferior until they finally cave to the ...

You are a GOD! Finally someone who has read the question, thought about it, then given a reasoned reply! My appreciation is boundless. Thanks so much for your thoughts, (and for not sharing what you "like"!).

BookGirl comments on Feb 2, 2018:
The only place I grow hair that really bothers me is my upper lip. I can grow a moustache that rivals any teen boy a few years into puberty. Any other body hair doesn't bother me.
GoldenDoll replies on Feb 2, 2018:
It's not about"what" you do, but "why". I'm trying to get people to think.

Don't care so much about the "pubes", maybe not even under the arms, so much; legs? Mmmm, don't think I could go for that in a relationship, personally. Not that the prospect will even present itself again in this lifetime.
GoldenDoll replies on Feb 2, 2018:
@Condor5 - wrong on all your "points" - I'm not angry, I'm just rude, & I have little patience with people who don't consider the question before they answer.

AdorkableMe comments on Feb 2, 2018:
Different people prefer different things. I don't equate no hair to pre-pubescent, I just view it as preference. It's their body to do with as they wish. I generally wax everything from my lashes down, but I don't feel like I have to, I just prefer it that way. I like being super soft and I have ...

If you stop shaving I think you will find that there are a significant number of women who will look at you unfavorably for not doing so. Women can be worse critics of women than men. Other than that, like it or not, shaved armpits and legs are a beauty norm in our culture. If you go against that...

@dahermit - maybe stop the observing & start participating. And don't give me those victim statements - I'm sure you have something valuable to offer, as we all do.

I think everyone should shave everything all the time but that's just me. I've had longer body hair and it drives me crazy! Nothing to do with adds or magazines i just find it itchy and lotion feels so much better after you shave :)

I like women, always have. Hairy or smooth, short or tall, skinny or fat, smart or ignorant and everything in between. Be yourself. Do as you will. I'll still love you and there ain't nothing you can do about that.

Female hair is ok, but capitalists have indeed manipulated social normality. I prefer her legs to not be as hairy as mine, but smooth, silky legs are cool. A little mustache isn’t too bad, or some sideburns. I would prefer it to be soft and fine. Armpit hair is cool, but again I don’t want as ...

Yeah it's so unfair why don't you have to shave your face everyday? You do realize men have to shave every single day and have way more body hair than women in general. They actually put a blonde woman in the advertisement saying "I want to see your face"

I wax my facial hair. I shave my legs. I use that very cream. It makes me feel clean and confident. It has very little to do with pleasing men. I have found that men do not mind body hair as much as one might think, if they care for the rest of you first.
GoldenDoll replies on Feb 2, 2018:
And I'm interested in WHY it makes you feel "clean & confident" - were you dirty with low self esteem before you shaved?

That's the whole point. You don't have to shave your face every day. I'm really sorry that you live in a society that thinks facial hair is "unprofessional". Here in England, every hipster has a beard & it's considered sexy. And I like the fact that young British men are reclaiming the beard - from many religiots.
