My Dad had a fun story about a friend of his. Omar worked with a woman; they became close friends. He finally got up the nerve to ask her for a date. She consented. Date day, he drove up to her house. Got out of the car and approached the house. As he was about to knock, a cat appeared in the window, then a second. He looked...considered...turned...walked back to his car, got in and drove away.

I would think that on a site like this we would hear from more who understand the underpinning of religion on society and reject the many behavioral myths along with an almost unanimous rejection of their basis.
