Aren’t the democrats being hypocrites on their dirty war against Kavanaugh after backing Bill Clinton for 8 years then backing Hillary who tried to cover up or ignore her husbands numerous misdeeds?

Wait a minute!! You want to appoint a slimeball to public office because Bill Clinton and Hillary were slimeballs? Really?

What happened to wanting decent people in office?

8

Trajan!
I salute your bravery in posting this in the general area! Hope you've got your flak jacket and protective goggles on!

Yes ,everybody enjoys a Gathering points pimp.

Don’t worry I’ve got them on.

8

Kavanaugh is being accused of rape and exposure. President Clinton’s worst fault was womanizing. Also, Kavanaugh is looking at a lifetime apt not just a maximum of 8 years in office.
All of that’s despite the fact that you’re assuming the democrats are behind anything. Isn’t it just possible there are some women out there that object to being abused? And then object to having their reproductive rights administered by a sexual abuser?

Thank you! I’m so sick of men, and even some women, saying she’s just doing this because of politics. Rape is the most humiliating and shameful thing to have to admit to publicly. Yet she did it for the good of the country. And now look at how all the “good” and pious right is treating her!

You are truly a hypocrite just like the rest of the democrats!

@Marcie1974 Well said, but you're wasting your time. You're dealing with a Faux news watching Trump troll.

@Marcie1974, @Trajan61 At least Democrats can see hypocrisy and know what it is. GOP don't get hypocrisy or irony either for that matter. Must be the Faux news diet.

@ronnie40356 I figured as much but I can’t seem to help myself from commenting. In my opinion, if a guy can’t bring himself to at least try to understand what it would feel like to be sexually assaulted.....it’s probably because he doesn’t really think it’s a big deal and that men are entitled to a woman’s body.

@Marcie1974 Why didn’t she bring charges 35 years ago? Wonder how much the democrats are paying her for this?

@Trajan61 and you're disgusting rape sympathizer just like the rest of the conservatives.

@Trajan61
Really? What makes you think I’m a democrat?

@Trajan61 do some reading about why women don’t come forward right away. Like read some stuff actually written by women who have been assaulted. Not BS written by a man about what he thinks she should do.

Also, until you’ve had a man overpower you, force your pants off and shove his dick into your ass, over and over, you can’t have a legitimate opinion. NOW imagine, after your asshole has been raped, you go to the hospital. Guess what? You get to bend over and feel humiliated all over again because they have to do a rape kit on you to collect semen for evidence. Why? Because no one is going to believe you.

@Trajan61 not as much as they’re paying you to be a troll.

7

No. Being cheated on by your husband is not the same thing as trying to fuck a 15 year old girl. How is that not obvious to you? Sounds like youre either a troll, a cretin, or a dumbass. What would republicans do if they didnt have false equivalencies to make and whataboutisms to rely on? Gasp might have to get a hobby or read something sometime.

I agree with your point. Not with your name calling.

@david75090 yeah calling someone a Republican is beyond the pale why it's almost as offensive as the equivalent "retard".

@david75090 I apologize Ill try to stop using the R word.

6

You are using the case of Clinton to justify the Republican's consistent mistreatment of women. It is the Republicans who have blocked the Equal Rights Amendment, attempts to demand equal pay for women, and new rules with teeth for sexual misconduct, as well as verbally assaulting he character of women who dare to challenge their patriarchy. You are being intellectually and morally dishonest. You are trying to portray yourself as taking the high moral ground, while duplicitously taking the low road to justify continuing Republican misdeeds. You should be ashamed.

6

OK, let's change the subject back to the Clinton's when neither of them are in power right now so it doesn't matter what you bring up. As for Hillary trying to cover up or ignore Bill's romps I suppose she should have turned against him immediately and cried out for divorce. Let everything go to hell and make everyone happy. Is that the expected norm in these cases? The Kavanaugh situation is much different and we all know it.

The democrat’s dirty war against Kavanaugh is totally political. Kavanaugh should and likely will be confirmed in spite of it.

@Trajan61 "Dirty war", Lol. Kavanaugh gets creepier the more I hear about him. And yes as crooked and creepy as GOP is he should fit right in..

@ronnie40356 Remember that Trump has a history of picking people just like himself and many have the same type of history.

6

Times change. Look at Al Franken with Democrats. Compare that to Roy Moore with Republicans.

I’m sorry but investigation of attempted rape as much as you might like the way the judge will vote in the future should not be a controversial issue.

Myah Level 6 Sep 25, 2018

The investigation of rape is not controversial. The timing of it on the other hand is controversial.

@Trajan61 The timing. Kavanaugh is up for a lifetime job as a supreme court justice. If now is not the time to bring up his character, when is? IF what the woman charges is true, and she hasn't spoken up until now, should she remain silent and let him rule over judicial cases as if he's NOT a dude with a severe kink? Should she just let it go, if she truly knows what she knows? Kavanaugh has the presumption of innocence, this woman does not?

@Trajan61

All the more reason for an investigation if you find the timing suspicious. All decent ethical roads lead to an independent investigation whether you believe her or not.
Due diligence is warrented for a Supreme Court Justice. You can’t have due diligence when you are rushing nominations as Republicans are currently trying to do.

@Myah There’s nothing to investigate. Kavanaugh didn’t do anything wrong and he will be confirmed.

@Trajan61

Then an investigation will prove that.
Why are you so against due diligence?

It doesn’t make sense. The prospect of an independent investigation in response to a serious allegation is not controversial. It is you who are trying to politicize the common sense response: an independent investigation

5

Typical for republicans, thier goal is to strip women’s rights by placing yet another sex offender on the Supreme Court.. this time they’ve chosen a pedophile. Their soul defense is the Clinton’s who haven’t been in office for a long time.
All this not surprising from the groper in chief, who had to purchase a wife and fantasizes about his own daughter.

Kavanaugh is not a sex offender. He is a good conservative and will make a great judge!

5

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I remember watching the Clinton impeachment hearings on television and thinking to myself, there will come a hard day of reckoning for this idiotic bullshit.

The GOP set the standard for invasion of people's personal lives in regards to qualification for political appointment. Now they have to live by their own rules and die by their own sword.

Beyond personal lives is the fact that these assaults were and are illegal. Its not a civil matter, sexual offenders are criminals.

@OpposingOpposum

If the allegations against Kavanaugh prove to be true, then they are indeed illegal.... and repulsive.

The difference between Clinton and Kavanaugh is that Clinton had an extramarrital affair where both participants were willingly engaged. Extramarrital affairs are not illegal in this country. We aren't some back water islamic country where you can be beheaded for screwing around on your spouse.

5

It's so insulting that anyone would think that womanizing and rape compare at all. Sure a privileged white man could not walk in the shoes of any woman. But a dictionary could help.....

wom·an·ize

ˈwo͝oməˌnīz/

verb

derogatory

gerund or present participle: womanizing

(of a man) engage in numerous casual sexual affairs with women.

rape noun (1)

\ ˈrāp  \

Definition of Rape

unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against a person's will or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent because of mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception — compare SEXUAL ASSAULT,STATUTORY RAPE

5

Yeah let's just blame Hillary. The orange assshole bought his pornstar wife from a foreign country. He screws around on her believes he has enough money to sexually assault women whenever he wants to. He picked his judge because this judge might possibly get his ass out of the hot water that he's in for his constant criminal activity. The conservative philosophy women are worthless pieces of shit and it doesn't matter how they're treated anyway. You certainly would find far more like-minded people on an Evangelical conservative Christian site.

5

Every politician ever is corrupt to some point. The sad thing is we are seeing a culture in Washington now that not only are they not hiding it, they also arent making excuses. THEY ARE OPEN ABOUT IT.

Neither Trump or Hillary had any business running for president, neither is good for the nation or the world. However.. and I think ow I'm going to catch a lot of shite for this..
I'M GLAD WE ARE SEEING THIS OUT IN THE OPEN.

This is what the first stages of an apocalypse looks like.
I used to think my vote really didnt matter, but now seeing how much time, money, and effort are going into trying to suppress it, I know understand what power it truly has.

Holy crap! It's true!!

3

Absolutely

3

It appears that the "Daughters of the Loyal Opposition" advocate "Guilty until proven innocent":

3

Apparently, this is an ongoing problem:

This is why victims of sexual assault don’t always come forward right away. Certain men think it’s funny and something to joke about. Let me guess, you think it shows how masculine you are if you coerce a woman into having sex with you.

@Marcie1974
Well Marcie, you've guessed wrong. I've a sense that you generalize about men. Sorry if you've had unfulfilling experiences with guys.

@bigpawbullets if you actually read my comment you would see it says certain men. I am extremely thankful to have many wonderful men in my life who do not believe they are entitled to a woman's body, simply because she is a woman and he is a man. These men are raising strong daughters and sons who respect a woman's right to her body.

@Marcie1974
Good for them. I'd like to think I did too.

@bigpawbullets probably not if you think it’s ok to post memes about assault

In what fresh hell do you think this meme is appropiate?

@Marcie1974
Yes, I think it's OK to post memes about lots of "sensitive" topics. Just like you enjoy forming opinions about people based on Internet posts.
😉

@DoctoralZombie
Why, right here Doc.

@bigpawbullets

@Marcie1974
Nice one!

@bigpawbullets You do understand that by some accounts she was a rape victim too, while being held by Argall

@DoctoralZombie
Any other possible /maybe victims you'd care to list?

@bigpawbullets relevance of doing so?

@DoctoralZombie
None, like your previous comment.

@bigpawbullets I get you tried to undermine arguments against Kavanaugh by reducing them to the absurd with the meme, but using a historical figure that most likely was raped by a white man might not have been the best choice to support your position. But thanks for accidentally supporting mine, you're a peach.

@DoctoralZombie
So..... we might go out for coffee sometime??
🙂

@bigpawbullets I am busy

That's classic race-baiting, and it's just rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful. Come on man, grow up.

@Flyingsaucesir
Race baiting. Really?

@bigpawbullets
I'm referring to the Elizabeth Warren as Pocahantis thing. I believe it fits the description.

3

Totally different situation. Nice try, though.

2

Its hard for me to separate the words Hypocrite and Hilary - to me they mean the same thing.

Oh what about Bill's "I did not have sex with that woman! Ms Lewinsky" - Hard to think of Bill without thinking LIAR!

They should be called the hypocritical party

Special Prosecutor Ken Starr went through the Cinton's lives with a fine-toothed comb going back decades and found nothing. The investigation went on for years. No one was indicted or pled guilty or went to jail. Eventually Bill's pecadillo with Monica Lewinski came to light and it didn't faze people. They still liked him by and large. This is all very different from the current situation. The Mueller investigation has turned in dozens of indictments. Several people close to Trump have pled guilty to multiple felonies, including his National Security Advisor, his Campaign Manager, and his personal lawyer. Trump himself is now an unindicted co-conspirator in multiple felonies. Trump lost the popular vote and only gained the Whitehouse with the illegal aid of a hostile foreign power. It is looking more and more like he colluded with that malignant foreign force in its efforts to sway the American election. And members of Trump's own staff apparently feel that they have to protect the country from this erratic, ignorant, obtuse, bigoted, unstable, sexual predator President. Trump makes Nixon look like a choirboy.

I voted for Trump based on potential entertainment value. I'm getting my money's worth.

@bigpawbullets
So you enjoy seeing the air and water polluted, the rich get richer while the middle class gets shafted, the racists and bigots feel empowered, women denigrated and abused with impunity, and malignant foreign powers install a puppet in the Oval Office? Really? Were you dropped on your head as a child?

@Flyingsaucesir
I don't want to argue here about your very important list <I'm not being sarcastic here sir>, but nothing has changed concerning any of that for the last half century. I don't believe anything will change regardless of who sits on the Supreme Court, or, in the Oval Office.

@bigpawbullets
Oh things have changed alright. The rich have gotten a fat tax break, global warming has gone from theory to in your face reality, the country has doubled down on debt, and the military budget has ballooned. And the guy you voted for is pushing hard in favor of all of that. Way to go dude. (Sarcasm intended.)

@bigpawbullets
Your belief that it does not matter who is in charge is not supported by evidence. History shows that individuals in positions of power can have enormous influence, for good or ill. And who sits on the Supreme Court is a matter of great consequence. Likewise who occupies the oval office. If you really think none of it matters, why did you bother to vote at all?

@Flyingsaucesir
I'd say that our system of government provides checks and balances protecting the country from examples of individuals in power doing significant damage.

@bigpawbullets
Having the FBI look into the allegations against Kavenaugh would qualify as an appropriate check. I wonder why Mitch McConnel and Charles Grassly are so reluctant to go there.

@bigpawbullets So that means you understand why his nomination is intolerable for many. Thanks for that.

@Flyingsaucesir
Jeez... we agree. This "it's a job interview" vs due process seems silly. I'd think a TS background check like we all had to go through as government contractors would be the least a Supreme Court Judge would be subjected to. Then there'd be no question.

@DoctoralZombie
Of course I do Doc. We've all got the right to our opinions. I applaud you for voicing them and acting on them. After all, you're an American.

@bigpawbullets a lot of people actually do vote like that for real. That's why this country and its people are as fucked as they are.

@Kojaksmom
First of all, say high to Kojak for me.
I don't share your belief that our country and it's people are f*ck~d. In a huge state of turmoil maybe. But it will get sorted out and we shall, as always, prevail.

The Muelller investigation is nothing more than a democrat witch hunt. Trump won the election fair and square as presidential elections here in the US are determined by electoral votes rather than popular vote. Trump will likely be re-elected in 2020 so you might as well get used to him.

@Trajan61
Yeah right! And those witches are pleading guilty or being found guilty by jury trial right and left. A very successful witch hunt I would say. And with the cooperation of the minor witches the top witch will soon go down in infamy. Yay!!!?

@bigpawbullets but we have to be very careful about the Supreme Court. Nobody votes for them,and they are on the bench for LIFE! That sir screws your philosophy of checks and balances.

@Kojaksmom
I'm far from an expert, on anything. But I thought the idea of the Judicial branch was to interpret law based on the Constitution. Not make policy. Our country has been doing this for awhile. And while the pendulum swings back and forth, we seem to be ok.

@Flyingsaucesir Your assertion that it matters who is in charge is very true as we are definitely better off now that Trump is in charge and not that arrogant racist idiot Obama!!! @Gater, @Spiketalon, @bigpawbullets

@Trajan61
Oh give me a break! Please!

2

I remember, back when "The BIG Dog" was president, I was working in, among other places, Buenos Aires. The Argentines, and many Europeans i interacted with were highly amused at the "Norte-Americano's" puritanical reaction to Bill's indescretions. "He's a manly man!" Was the consensus. "Send him down here if you don't want him!" Was the common response to the idea of his impeachment. Dwight, Jack, probably all of our Presidents had affairs, mistresses, indescretions.
Alpha males who rise to positions of power generally do. I think the difference might just be that like Jack, they left the ladies smiling. Today's crop of mediocre leaders just don't have the proper style. Just my opinion, of course.
😉

That's very red that's very red pill of you. let's see how you act when your daughter or your wife gets raped you going to have the same Cavalier attitude?

@Kojaksmom
Chances of either happening are less than being shot by an "active shooter". I think we're ok.
And you've got Kojak! So, you're good.
Maybe, we should all switch to decaf and go watch Jeopardy.

2

Kavanaugh has the presumption of innocence. He's up for a lifetime job on the supreme court. Shouldn't he be investigated? Yeah, "...but...Clinton..." and "...but...Hillary...", but...Kavanaugh, who's up for the supreme court job. Right in front of us. Now. 2018. If there are credible allegations, they should be addressed by the FBI. Call whatever names we want. Make whatever charges of motives we want. Investigate. Now. 2018. What's the hurry? There is a judge, in place, that Kavanaugh will replace. That judge can stay until this is settled.

0

Bill Clinton is a DINO, thought you'd love the guy. He accomplished right wing pet issues the GOP could only dream of at the time, but you mad ' cause he had a D behind his name. LMFAO

0

When you say 'the democrats' you have to keep in mind that they were not always the same people. Otherwise you could also argue that the democrats are hypocrites because back in the day they supported slavery and now they don't.
For some of the same people who are against Kavanaugh now and who supported Clinton back in the day it is fair to say that they really are hypocrites. But just because criticism comes from a hypocrite doesn't mean that it isn't valid criticism.
