Could you forgive someone who murdered your love one??
I loved someone who committed suicide. I forgave her.
What are we talking about?
A burglary gone wrong and ended up killing someone?...
A vicious serial killer done it with no sense of remorse and compassion?...
Someone got pissed at football and throw the TV out the window and killed an innocent bystander?...
Reckless drunk driving?...
A legit accident?
The husband found the wife busy on the bedroom and killed that dude?
Too many possibiites to have them all listed... which one is it?
No. Forgiveness is just used to keep people from trying to take out revenge.
No, but I can admit I don't fully understand the concept of forgiveness. If it's murder, then it's not an accident. I never bought into the idea that forgiveness brings peace and comfort. To me, saying that you forgive someone is the same as saying the action is ok.
No. Even if it was manslaughter instead of murder, I still couldn't. Dead is dead and I'd never see my loved one again. No amount of 'closure' could bring them back.
NO. Only in case of it being an accident. Otherwise I could never forgive and would like to get my hands around the killer's neck. As for all those church people who say they forgive and that you must forgive -- they are lying!
Depends on the circumstance. Was it an accident, negligence, intentional? I would say likely in the case of an accident. Definitely not in the latter 2.
