Who all has deleted their facebook accounts since joining this site?
I doubt I will ever delete facebook. A long lost relative found me many years ago on facebook but more importantly, it is the platform that my children and grandchildren use to upload pictures and indicative of what they are in to.
People do not mail out pictures to relatives like they used to; nowadays you download what you like from social media, take it to walgreens and create a hard copy if you want something to hang on the wall
I follow my relatives of course but also follow pages that post local events and I also follow quite a few scientific or progressive entities. In many cases, the things uploaded here have already been seen on Facebook
Nearly none of my family members or friends are unbelievers so if I wish to keep up with them, I will continue using facebook..
I visit FB less since I joined this group, but will not erase it. I keep contact with my relatives, friends and see their photos and know what they're doing all the time. It's an entirely different site with a different purpose.
I definitely have far less expectations about Facebook. Only picking up messages. Doing far less browsing. I have the impression Facebook is not what it used to be since all the algorithm changes.
Absolutely not. I have over 40 photo albums and a decade worth of travel and personal photos on there.
Also, it's the only way I stay in touch with long-distance friends and relatives.
Also, I run 3 groups.
Also, I have business pages.
Wish you had a 3rd category: Still have account but now almost never check most such time now on Agnostics.
@snifflz Thanks.
