Catholic Priests have been 'visiting' Nuns for centuries and NOT merely to hear the confessions of the Nuns as per Catholic Canon Law where ONLY a MALE Priest may hold Mass and hear the confessions, etc.
It has often been estimated that approx. 65% of ALL children adopted from Catholic Children's Homes AFTER 1920 were children of the sexual antics of Priests and Nuns.
Btw, 1920 was the year when the Catholic Church out-lawed the usage of Lime-Pits in ALL Convents.

It is a FACT that the Catholic Church IS the Richest Organisation in the ENTIRE world and the misuse of funds, etc, including here Molesting Children, fathering children and abandoning the mothers and children in at LEAST 175 countries around the world is, perhaps, the mere beginning of its downfall, HOPEFULLY.

And, according to the report on the Australian Broadcasting Commission program, Foreign Correspondent, aired last evening at 7.30 pm EST, that number is climbing as more and more Children of Priests are coming forward and beginning to asks questions, etc.
Plus it emerged during the program that the Catholic has known about this SCANDAL for decades at least and has put in place 'Secret' Rules and Regulations to 'handle the Scandal BUT those Rules, etc, ARE NOT available to be made public by unanimous vote of the Curia and the Pope.
Also, the Church REFUSES, point blank, to rescind the 'Celibacy' Ruling since, according to the Church, the 'Vow(?) of Celibacy made by a Priest is the 'Gift' of that Priest to god and jesus.
Upon hearing that I immediately thought to myself, " Offering up a gift (?) and later taking back that very same 'gift(?)' does NOT make the giver al low-down, outright "Indian Giver," lying Scumbag and about as trustworthy as a completely rabid dog?

Yes. let us not forget that the 'missionaries' of other sects of Christianity ALSO have left behind a very long trail of these 'Hidden and Secret Children' in their wake as well.
Lutherans, Methodists, Anglicans, the list is almost endless.

My Great Grandfather, on my 'mother's side of the family, would often relate to me how, as a child back in England, he would go with his father to help him as a Gardener at the nearby Convent.
He told me of an occasion where he asked his father " Why there was a huge, deep Lime Pit in the grounds of the Convent" only to be told that the pit was where the 'unwanted babies born to the Nuns were taken ALIVE at night, placed in the pit and then covered in lime so that they'd die and the lime would dissolve the bodies,"
He initially doubt what his father had told him, UNTIL, one time, a few weeks later, there were some heavy, flooding rains and they were expected to clean up the debris of fallen trees, etc.
When they cleared the debris from around the pit area they actually saw that bones, skulls, etc, from what could only be babies/very young children had been washed out of the pit and were scattered around it.
That was the time I actually, and for the first time ever, saw my Grandfather sit and cry, not merely weep, but actually have torrents of tears pouring down his face and cheeks so I have no reason even to this day to doubt the truth of his statement.

@motrubl4u My Grandfather, as well as my own Father, always instilled into me 2 main things to remember; 1) a persons word IS their word of Honour and should not be used in vain, 2) It IS easy to tell a lie, BUT a lie MUST be remembered word perfectly or IT WILL trip you up in the end, the Truth IS always remembered perfectly and without effort AND will never trip you up no matter how many times you tell it.

Just as any Australian Prime Minister also needs Special Security Clearance to enter Level 23 of Pit 12, a coal mine in the Illawarra region of N.S.W. where 24/7 there are ARMED A.S.I.S. Officers patrolling it both above and below ground.
