Not recently being I got a new one less than three months ago, so should be good to go for at least a few years without having to worry about any sort of malfunction. Then again, that's certainly no guarantee that something bad like that wouldn't happen even to a newer device.

More worried about its spy features. GPS, listening, camera et al.

@glennlab That, and also those IMSI catcher devices, which most simply refer to as Stingray spy devices. Not sure if you'd be able to access the whole post if not logged in on Minds, and if not should be able to copy and paste it if you like. That one was from back in 2018, but still very relevant to this day.
