Lost for 325 years, original Quebec City fortifications found by archeologists in near perfect condition
November 6, 2018
Excavation work uncovers wooden stockade that, built by a French colony, is unique in North America
Excellent piece! I've been to Quebec City, back in the late '70's, the stone fortifications were something to see. This is a great find!
How do all these things end up so far underground?
@Aivery thanks! That's been bugging me for years
Maybe the French discovered America. It certainly was not Colombo.
Lief the Lucky was in Canada centuries before Chris the Butcher arrived in Hispaniola.
North and South America were discovered 10 of thousands of years ago maybe even by pre-Sapiens a 100,000 years ago. European didn't discover anything that people living here didn't already know.
