I am so relieved to find others who have pets defecating within the confines of their homes. Yes we need to clean up but they are so worth it. Guinea pigs are smarter than the average rodent.

The moment I realized Iguana ownership was not for me: Jubjub decided he needed to climb on my head as I was getting ready to clean his home. He was about 3 feet long. Let’s just say that he unloaded half of his body weight in excrement on the top of my head while scrambling to get higher. He was never what you might call friendly. After my third shower, trying to get rid of the feeling of being permanently gross from being shat upon, I decided that in the future, Iguanas would be off of my list as possible house pets. On the plus side, it is a story that gets a lot of laughs.

Funny story, but at least the Iguana was honest in his efforts. No days we are being shat upon all the time. Don't have to take a shower, but it is time to clean out the stable.

They look huge but cool!

@AmiSue That is truly amazing! I had no idea that they got so big.

That is one gorgeous lizard, from one former exotic pet owner to another
