Rescued this little buddy from the wet sand water's edge on the beach today. I thought it was dead but it frantically grabbed my fingers when I touched it so I carried it home and gave it some sugar water which it seemed to like. Now it's just hanging out on the dish. Not sure what to do with it. It has a broken wing and was pretty beat up and covered in sand. It vibrated its wings a few times to shake a lot of sand off. It didn't want to get off my hand! Poor guy. I think it's a Lorquin's Admiral. I'm on the central Oregon coast.
