Here in Wisconsin we have the brown recluse. True to its name it is reclusive& brown. We know to watch out in moist, dark areas of buildings. In the 4 Corners & other areas west of Big Muddy, it is the black widow. She was a beauty. Packing up camping material there she was in a fold of a tarp dining on a yellow jacket. Glistening black as a polished patent leather shoe, with her all too apparent red abdominal hour glass, I carefully moved her to a wood pile where she will be very happy. I am very happy also for obvious reasons.
