I took a stroll in a local park today. I found some millipedes under some wood, a mantis egg case on a branch, and some cattle egrets.

I was at the beach a few days ago and saw this little guy on my beach towel. It was about the size of a grain of rice. At first I thought it was a tick, but looking closer I'm thinking maybe a weevil.

My grumpy ball python is finally starting to relax a bit. I don't know if it had a bad experience with people at the pet store or if he got out on the wrong side of the egg, but we have came to an understanding at last. :-)

I was spraying reptile tanks tonight and noticed Xena had a stuck on eye cap from her last shed. Of course that had to be taken care of. We hung out for awhile.

What do you think of snake massages? To me, it would be my own version of "heaven", as long as the snakes are well-cared for and stress-free in a calm environment.

New photo series "Birds pooing on cars". This osprey has taken to hanging out over the highway in the mornings. He sits there until he does his business, then flies off. I guess hobbies are hard to come by if you're a bird? Caught the 2nd one ...
