The cat is both in the box and not in the box. At the same time. Just to be a real nurd here, if one was to look closely at the reflection in the glass I would venture that there are two cats in the box, one a further reflection of the cat on the back panel of glass in the shower panel.

I think the cat is sitting on the patio/deck in just the right spot to be reflected as sitting in that box. I get kitties on my deck because I have catnip growing out there, and my kitties inside take offence to the visitors.
Too deep for me...

In the patio door, the box is reflected with a cat inside of it. The cat is on the other side of the door in just the right place.
