They wandered through my property when I lived in upper county. Never saw one, just the scat. My indoor/outdoor kitty could certainly smell if one was around and would stay in.
One was live trapped and relocated after it killed my next door neighbor's (as in the property 25 hundred feet SW of me). The dead sheep was used as bait to live trap the cat. Several of the neighbors were notified when the cat came back to feed and was in the trap. I was one of them. It was quickly tranquilized, weighed, measured and collared. A young female, 85 pounds. Just beautiful!!
