One of our cats has a curious quirk: Greasy (I don't name'em, I just love'em) seems to feel the need to "comfort" you whenever you use the toilet. He comes in, reaches over gently, looks away for privacy, and then leaves afterwards.

Mine would join me and stay for showers as well. She would come in, but she never made a point of touching me while she was there, so I found it curious that he did. And cute.
That's because you don't play mouse with your big toe.

@Lauren I recommend using the nail clipper on the razor sharp claw tips before you do try it. - that's unless you like blood & bits of foot & toe flesh all over your toilet-bathroom floor!

@Lauren Chloe's photo does not show her in good light. Is her fur in need of brushing? She also looks somewhat emaciated. Is she ok? I recently looked after a cat with a, I think, thyroid problem. He ate like a horse but was still all skin & bone.
@FrayedBear Sadly, she passed away at 21, so you're probably seeing some old age there. She was a Cornish Rex, and had very, very short, curly hair, which didn't appeal to some people.
Thanks for the reminder, I should take that picture down. I keep so many photos of her around the house that I forget they're laying around.

@FrayedBear She did, and I think she was very happy. It's been more than a year ago.
@Lauren I still miss my old girl & her one photo will stay prominently on the kitchen wall for as long as I have a kitchen wall.
