Hannah, my Rottweiler, was sitting by the side of the road. I stopped for her. She jumped into my van, made herself comfortable on on one of the seats and ate my leftover sandwich. We were immediatly sympatico. She made friends with the cats, but not with the UPS man who delivered my insulin and pump supplies. every month, He left a note in my mailbox: Dear Antje, I could not deliver your package. The dog barked at me.
Awwh!
I intrduced him to Hannah, showed him the sofa in the front room here she spends her day. All was well. She lived another four years. She was a calm, loyal dog.
Good ones! I had a Golden Retriever with a big bark. The "danger" in him was that he would lean on you and knock you over! That boy liked full body contact.
