My sister complains that the cats start gathering to be fed around 7:00 PM, when their food time is at 9:00 PM. (They do also get fed at 9:00 AM too). I tried to explain to her that at our latitude in June, the Sun went down around 9:00 PM, However now in October, the sun goes down around 7:00 PM. So, I explained, the cats get their cues from when the sun goes down, not from the clock. She still complains about them gathering early to be fed.
@snytiger6 Mine know when I go to the kitchen to begin cutting my fruit, it's their breakfast time.
back in the day that I had a can opener, it was the best way to get the pets into the kitchen.
